Capitalizing on an initial experience in 2019, which brought together more than 32 international artists and attracted more than 1000 visitors, the Glass Museum organizes a second edition of the Biennial of Contemporary Glass in May 2021.
With 800m² of exhibition space, this event for the general public will promote craftsmanship and contemporary creation in the field of glass. This Biennial is an encounter first and foremost, however: a unique, friendly meeting by and between glass professionals, amateurs, collectors, the curious, etc.
Several techniques will be represented (glass blowing, spinning, sculpture, glass paste, fusing, stained glass, etc.) so as to enable the public and visitors to admire the great diversity of shapes and colours as well as the creative force exuded by this material, which never ceases to fascinate us.
All the elements will thus be brought together once again to make this 2nd edition an event true to the history of our region, its values and ambitions. Far more than a simple exhibition, it will be a real glass festival.
If you wish to take part in this event, you are kindly requested to send in your application by 1st October 2020.
You will find all the exhibition terms and conditions here
