Focus « Aurélie Abadie + Sauques Samuel. Qui suis-je ? » 28/03/25>14/09/25

Aurélie Abadie (°1983), who holds a BTS in industrial design, went on to study at the Cerfav in Vannes-le-Châtel (France), graduating in 2008. Samuel Sauques (b. 1977) studied history in Caen (1998), before taking a BTS in Ceramic Art in Limoges in 2001. For both of them, this apprenticeship was enriched by professional experience within major companies and institutions (CIRVA, Lalique, Limoges, etc.). Based in Brittany since 2008, these two artists have focused their artistic research on the essence of Being and how it is constructed, in a resolutely contemporary approach. Their approach is universal: they talk about the body, the human being and relationships with others. And glass, their accomplice, enables them to materialise what is of the order of the intangible, the invisible: the permanent tension between being oneself and being in the world.
